We invite you to the lecture The Language of Innovation – Lessons from Israel, which will be held by Mr. Nir Tsuk, PhD. The lecture, organised by the Faculty of Economics in Osijek and the Embassy of Israel in Croatia will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Atrium of the Glagolitic Alphabet of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek.
The lecture will be held in English and will be broadcast online (link will be available the day before the lecture, on the EFOS website).

Dr. Nir Tsuk is an experienced academic and expert with over 25 years of international experience in the area of social capital, entrepreneurship and innovation – as well as a proud descendant of the Croatian Morpurgo family. During his term as professor at the Osaka University, as well as being NYU’s Global Distinguished Scholar, Nir founded the Institute for Impact and Intrapreneurship for the NYU through which he shares innovation culture with those who need it most.
Before that, Nir was in charge of growth and influence idealist.org – the largest online talent acquisition platform in the world – as the head of growth and development, and he brought Ashoka – the largest social entrepreneurship organization in the world – to Israel, after having spent time as director of the global community in Ashoka in Washington DC, which connected over 3000 social entrepreneurs in over 72 countries. Nir defended his thesis at the Cambridge University in social and political sciences and while there wrote a dissertation about social networks, social capital and intentional communities. He previously led initiatives for policy research in the Community Development Foundation in London, as well as the Department for Social Issues at the Israeli Knesset in Jerusalem.
