    On Saturday, November 11, 2008, ad for the enrollment of the new 4th class of Graduate Specialist Program in Entrepreneurship (the 13th generation of graduate level education) was published in the media and on the Program’s website.     A several days ago, the new version of the entrepreneurship portal www.poduzetnistvo.org , a joint project of the Center for Entrepreneurship Osijek and Graduate Program in Entrepreneurship Osijek was launched. The portal was created using the latest web technologies and it features simple and intuitive navigation, enabling quick access to the content. The purpose of the portal is to daily provide fresh articles from all Croatian daily newspapers, business magazines and other media related to entrepreneurship and economy. It also features news and information from the field of entrepreneurship, as well as all other information directly or indirectly related to entrepreneurship as an activity and/or a way of life.

  3. So long to Allan and Joan Gibb

    Our friendship and mutual collaboration with Allan Gibb and Joan Gibb has been going on since the very beginnings of development and start of our Graduate Program in Entrepreneurship, since year 2000. Joan and Allan believe that the rich experience and knowledge they have been giving us all these years allowed us to “grow up”, and that we can continue on our own. They will remain our friends whose advice and help we can count on all the time, but they will no longer participate in teaching. We wish a lot of success to Joan and Allan both in their further academic endeavors and their personal life.

  4. International Entrepreneurship Educators Conference

    International Entrepreneurship Educators Conference was held on 8th-10th September in London. The focus of this year’s conference were the challenges of development of the concept of entrepreneurial university and incorporating entrepreneurial activity into various institutions in the society. Within the conference, Slavica Singer, PhD and Sunčica Oberman Peterka, PhD held a workshop titled “Developing an Entrepreneurial European Doctoral Programme”, where they presented the TEMPUS ICES project, and the doctoral program in entrepreneurship, development of which is one of the goals of this project.

  5. Croatian entrepreneurship case included in international collection of business cases

    The Richard Ivey School of Business, the University of Western Ontario maintains the second largest collection of business cases in the world, named Ivey Publishing, which contains over 2,500 active cases in nine major disciplines, over 80% of which have teaching notes. In cooperation with Franchise Center of the Center for Entrepreneurship Osijek, Professor Ilan Alon, PhD from Rollins College, Florida, USA, visited Croatia in 2006, held several specialized workshops on franchising (for bankers, lawyers and consultants) and had conversations with several young local emerging franchise companies. He especially liked the example of San Francisco Coffee House, to which he foresees international success, and the idea to write and publish a case on emergence and development of this Croatian franchise was born. » Read more…
