Harvard professor Porter has received the first Lifetime Achievement Award in Economic Development from the U.S. Department of Commerce. As their partner institution, we have received this news directly from Harvard Business School. Namely, Porter’s “Microeconomics of Competitiveness” course is also part of our program under the title “Competitiveness”. Thus we belong to a group of 80 institutions throughout the world that teach this course in partnership with Harvard Business School. Several of our professors have attended training for execution of the course at the Harvard Business School: Slavica Singer, PhD and Sanja Pfeifer, PhD in 2003, and Sunčica Oberman Peterka PhD and Mirela Alpeza, MSc in 2006.
