The third summer academy for university teachers who are involved in entrepreneurial teaching is taking place in Osijek on August 26-31, 2012 at the Faculty of Economics. The third international summer academy is organised by the International Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (ICES) at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, Faculty of Economics, and international partners National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education from the UK, Turku School of Economics from Finland and Aarhus Entrepreneurship Centre from Denmark). Summer international academy for university professors who teach entrepreneurial courses or want to include entrepreneurial competencies into their courses is part of the project European Entrepreneurship Educators Programme (3EP), which is co-financed by the EU Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) in the 2010-2012 period. So far 110 teachers from entire Europe have participated in summer academies in Turku and Aarhus, and 54 teachers from Norway, Finland, Denmark, United Kingdom, Ireland, Estonia, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, Tunis and Croatia participate in the summer academy in Osijek. The objective of the project is to educate teachers for including entrepreneurial competencies as an important result of learning in their work with students of all disciplines and orientations. Besides, through these three international summer academies a network of teachers is created, who will through further collaboration and exchange of experience will be an important structure in the European Union in the process of enabling students for entrepreneurial action. The first summer school took place in Turku, Finland in 2010 and the second in Aarhus, Denmark, in 2011.
