Course provides students the opportunity to learn from the literature and experience of entrepreneurs about creation of value and the value creation chain in the context of entrepreneurial activity, as well as to become familiarized with fundamental methods for enterprise evaluation. By recognizing characteristics of individual activities/industries (observing patterns beneath the surface chaos), entrepreneurs, managers and investors are able to prepare for change even before it occurs. The key topics are: value creation chains, business models; value creation concepts focused on the buyer, distribution channel, product, technology, organization, knowledge; polarization vs. convergence in value creation.
Course execution is based on intensive student involvement in analysis of cases from business environment and discussions with entrepreneurs, investors and managers who participate in classes.
