As part of the Colours conference organized by the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, professors of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek – Sunčica Oberman Peterka, Ph.D. and Anamarija Delić, Ph.D. held a workshop on 24 October 2024 entitled: Why is it important to teach entrepreneurship to all university students? The workshop is part of the activities of the project Euforia 2.0: Developing, Connecting and Digitising Regional Innovation Valleys, which is funded by the EIT Urban Mobility (23817 EUFORIA 2.0) and in which Josip Juraj Strossmayer University is a partner. In the interactive workshop, the lecturers emphasized that entrepreneurship is a competence that everyone needs, related to proactivity, innovation, turning ideas into action and project management, and that all educational programs at all levels of education should contribute to the development of this competence. The European Union has developed the EntreComp tool to help educators incorporate entrepreneurship skills development into their curricula.
